⚠️ Pannes de courant possibles – Soyez prêts et restez prudents

Avec la météo difficile annoncée, les citoyens sont invités à se préparer à d’éventuelles pannes de courant.

🔌 Chargez dès maintenant vos téléphones cellulaires et appareils électroniques afin de rester informés si l’électricité est interrompue.

Si vous utilisez des génératrices, BBQ ou autres appareils à combustible, soyez prudents : ils peuvent produire du monoxyde de carbone, un gaz dangereux, inodore et invisible.

✔️ Utilisez les génératrices à l’extérieur seulement, loin des portes et fenêtres
✔️ N’utilisez jamais un BBQ ou une cuisinière au gaz à l’intérieur pour vous chauffer
✔️ Assurez-vous que votre résidence possède un avertisseur de monoxyde de carbone fonctionnel

❗ Les symptômes d’une intoxication peuvent inclure maux de tête, étourdissements, nausées et fatigue. Si ces symptômes apparaissent, sortez immédiatement à l’extérieur et composez le 911.

Prenez soin de vous et vérifiez que vos voisins vont bien, surtout les personnes vulnérables.

⚠️ Possible power outages – be prepared and stay safe

With difficult weather expected, residents are encouraged to prepare for potential power outages.

🔌 Charge your cell phones and electronic devices now so you can stay informed if the power goes out.

If you are using generators, BBQs, or other fuel-burning appliances, remember they can produce carbon monoxide, a dangerous and invisible gas.

✔️ Use generators outdoors only, far from doors and windows
✔️ Never use BBQs or gas stoves indoors for heating
✔️ Ensure your home has a working carbon monoxide detector

❗ Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headaches, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. If symptoms appear, go outside immediately and call 911.

Stay safe and check on neighbors who may need assistance.

Nous soulignons la contribution remarquable des femmes qui contribuent chaque jour à faire grandir et avancer notre communauté. Nous sommes fiers que notre conseil municipal soit composé de façon équilibrée de femmes et d’hommes, et reconnaissants envers les nombreuses femmes de notre équipe municipale et Service Incendie qui servent Campbell’s Bay avec professionnalisme, dévouement et cœur.

The 2026 Municipal Budget was adopted by Council on January 27, 2026.
